Mr. Thai Chicken Satays

Ingredients

2kg chicken breast, sliced into thick strips (try thighs next time)
10g salt (original 20g)
60g sugar (original 40g)
1T cornstarch
1T vegetable oil
2t turmeric
1/2 cup water
(original 1t black pepper, but try omitting)

Directions

Mix all seasonings and water, then add chicken and turn to coat. Marinate for at least 1 hour before cooking. Quickly grill on barbecue.
