Chocolate Buttercream Frosting

 Ingredients

1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
.5 cup cocoa powder
3T heavy cream
2t vanilla extract
1/4t salt
3.5 cups powdered sugar

Directions

Make sure butter is well-softened. Whip with Mixmaster on medium speed for about 2 minutes, until creamy. Add cocoa, cream, vanilla, and salt, and blend in. Add sugar, .5 cup at a time, until all is blended in. Whip at medium-high speed until light and fluffy.
